Barack Obama Ad Lies About John McCain

FACT CHECK: Obama charges against McCain debatable | Newsweek Politics: Campaign 2008 | Newsweek.com

Democrat Barack Obama's "closing argument" speech Monday included a sweeping accusation against GOP rival John McCain: "Senator McCain still has not been able to tell the American people a single major thing he'd do differently from George Bush when it comes to the economy."

But the charge is debatable — McCain has several ideas that are different than Bush's policy, which he touched on as recently as a Sunday interview on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Barack Obama can't do anything wrong.

Here we go. First Barack Obama lies and tells the press last November that he pledges to accept public financing and to work with the Republican nominee to ensure that they both operated within those limits. After finding out that he could raise more money on his own, Obama goes back on his word and takes public financing. Now he is using this money to tell half truths and lies.

Well how much has Barack Obama raised? He has raised well over $600 million since the start of his campaign, close to what George Bush and John Kerry raised combined in 2004. The courageous among Obama's own supporters concede this decision was
really made for one reason, simply because it was to Obama's financial advantage.

Now using this money, you will find Obama telling everyone that McCain is just like Bush, when he is not. On a lot of major issues McCain is different but if your not a media hog, you will not know. Barack Obama knows this and lies to try and get elected.

But one thing is true, if elected Barack will be working with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and become as John McCain calls them “a dangerous threesome” With Pelosi and Reid running congress, congress' job approval rating has dropped, making the current reading the lowest congressional job approval rating in the 34-year Gallup Poll history of asking the question. The previous low was 18%, last reached in May. Now the rating is down to 9%.

Just like Barack Obama, Harry Reid is blaming President George Bush. He said, “Any time, I repeat, any time you have a president that is down so, so far in poll numbers, it drags down a city council member. It drags down any elected official,
including us, and we recognize that.”
Hay Harry, in order for someone to “drag you down” as you have described the President doing, they must first be below you. With the President’s approval rating hovering around the 30% mark, it is very unlikely he is having much of an affect on the do nothing Congress.

So if Barack Obama is elected, with his false ads, the three will be the "Three stooges."
